As part of a week-long international engagement program, yesterday, I had the privilege of conducting a Design Thinking Bootcamp at Nanyang Business School's stunning new building, GAIA, at NTU - The largest wooden building in Asia! This workshop was tailored for 52 international students from Woxsen University in India, offering them an immersive introduction to the design thinking methodology. 🌍💡
🌟 A Global Perspective: The diverse cultural backgrounds ignited a vibrant exchange of ideas. From ideation to prototyping, participants were guided in quick-fire rounds through the stages of design thinking, learning how to empathise, define, ideate, prototype, and test.
🧠 Innovative Pedagogies at Work: The success of this bootcamp was not merely a result of the curriculum but also the innovative pedagogical methods employed. Interactive, hands-on activities kept the participants engaged and encouraged creativity and critical thinking.
🌐 Gratitude and Acknowledgment: I'd like to express my sincere appreciation to the organisers for their dedicated efforts in making this engagement program possible. Special thanks to Associate Professor Peer Sathikh for extending the invitation, fostering this collaboration, and ensuring its success.
The Design Thinking Bootcamp was a significant part of this enriching program. It exemplifies the power of cross-cultural collaboration in education, innovation, and the creative practice of design thinking. 🌟✨
