This past month, I’ve had the privilege of participating in a series of rewarding experiences across design, education, and sustainability research:
Solo Poster Design Show at the CIDEA Conference, Chengdu
It was an incredible honour to have my poster design work curated by Distinguished Professor Dr Li Xu at the CIDEA Conference in Chengdu, held at the Sichuan Conservatory of Music and Chengdu Academy of Fine Art. Being a part of such a prestigious international gathering was both humbling and inspiring. This event provided a wonderful platform to share my work with an audience that appreciates the role of design in connecting cultures and pushing creative boundaries.
Keynote and Artist Talks in Wuhan
Shortly after Chengdu, I had the pleasure of speaking at the Eco-Design Development Summit and ‘International Academic Month of Design’ at Hubei University of Technology. My keynote focused on Ethical Design Pedagogies, sustainability, and interdisciplinary collaboration. In addition, I delivered three further talks at Huanggang Normal University, Hubei Academy of Fine Arts, and the Wuhan Institute of Design and Sciences. Despite a packed schedule, the warmth and hospitality of my hosts made the experience truly memorable, and I left Wuhan with many rich, insightful conversations.
